The video, "Paj Ntaub (Flower Cloth)"
is targeted for Hmong speakers to assist them as they consider family child care as an
occupation. The video goes through the major considerations in establishing family child
care, particularly for Hmong communities. This video was created by the Wisconsin Child
Care Resource & Referral Network, with the assistance of family child care specialists
and Hmong speakers in Wisconsin. The video is in English, but contains some Hmong
conversations among established family child care providers. "Paj Ntaub" was
filmed in the home of a Hmong state licensed family child care provider in Wausau,
Wisconsin, with narration done by a Hmong-speaking child care expert from Eau Claire. To view a copy of "Paj Ntaub," contact your local CCR&R, or the Wisconsin Child Care Information Center. Copies of the video and trainer's guide may be purchased from the Wisconsin CCR&R Network for $10.00. |
