CCR&R Validation

CCR&Rs in Wisconsin go through a process called validation of standards every three years.

This validation of standards includes:

an intensive self-study
validation visit
quality improvement plan
an independent commission to review the findings of each validation

The process allows CCR&Rs to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of their program, to improve their services and program quality, and to acknowledge the value of their program to funding sources and their communities.

Eight CCR&Rs went through the validation of standards process, leading to accreditation, in December 2002.

in Wisconsin Rapids, serving: Adams, Clark and Wood Counties.

Child Care Resource & Referral Services of Greater Racine & Kenosha, Inc.

in Sturtevant, serving: Racine and Kenosha Counties.

Southwest WI Child Care Resource & Referral, Inc.

in Fennimore, serving: Crawford, Grant, Iowa, Lafayette, Richland, and Vernon Counties.
